Being Greedy

Jesus believes that we should be generous and give to the poor by encouraging others to sell their possessions and share their wealth with others. 

Greed is having an excessive desire for something, out of selfishness. People can have greed for food, power, and/or wealth. In order to stop ourselves and others from being greedy, we must be generous to others and keep others in mind when it comes to sharing our resources because if we don't, then we will become sinful with greed and it will make us fall into darkness by destroying relationships with others, which will hurt us. We must have enough money and food in order to survive, but at the same time, we must save enough for the future or for emergencies but not hoard it to the point where we are going to die with it. We also must distribute power in this world so no one has full power to do bad things that will hurt others, such as Hitler causing WWII, others rigging the economy in order to have financial gains, and others losing their jobs to those in top positions, who are overpaid. We need to share in order to better ourselves and the society we live in. We can start by donating to charity, giving back to our community, and volunteering at our favorite place or charity.

We must love our Lord Jesus Christ with all of our hearts and pray for others in order to help heal others, which will help heal ourselves. 

I pray to Jesus Christ that everyone will share their resources with others.
